Researchers under the leadership of Amin Daoulah at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah, included 687 men in their study who had been referred to one of five hospitals in Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates for coronary angiography.
Upon analysing the results, the scientists found significant correlations: the more wives a man had, the higher the risk of a coronary artery disease, left main disease or multivessel disease.
