Det undrer mig at det er United Nations Population Fund UNFPA, der klager over nøden ?

Da UNFPA er et FN organ, så forvent det normale klynk og bønner om vestlig hjælp …

:: “We were unable to access all areas in Hamdan, Habash, and Jibla, and in several districts; all districts in Malhan are disaster-stricken. The water barriers have swept away citizens’ homes, and people have been displaced due to rockslides and collapsing homes, which continue to fall due to the heavy rains. This urgently requires intervention for the relief and rescue of those under the rubble of homes and to save families and the injured, and to provide them with relief and tents to shelter the displaced, as there is no place for them to go now.”

According to the UNFPA, over 20 people have been confirmed dead, while over 15 others remain missing.

The floods have completely destroyed 40 homes and damaged approximately 230 others, impacting around 1,020 families.

Displaced women and children have taken refuge in classrooms, while workers carry plastic sheets and relief supplies to those in need.”

Jeg er ikke helt sikker på at det område, som er ramt , er under houti kontrol ?

Så vidt jeg ved, er der en borgerkrig i Yemen, hvor store iranske våbenleverancer har givet houtierne fordelen, og de har trængt den “rigtige” yemenistiske regering tilbage mod øst
