The UN says 3,000 migrants are now crossing into Macedonia from Greece every day in an attempt to reach the EU
It has now called on other countries to help by taking in more refugees amid fears the Balkans will be overrun
The Balkan route is popular with those travelling overland from warn torn countries such has Syria and Afghanistan.
