 I recently released a video with Anne Marie Waters, explaining my decision to join the For Britain Party. You can see that video here. I have come to realise that as much as we expose the truth about what is happening across the country, it is only politically that we can make actual change. They’re quite happy for us to march and have demos, but what they fear is political opposition, that starts to cost them seats. So we are going to build a political force, without all the politics and nonsense we had with UKIP, this time we have a party of people all on the same page with the same goals and love of their country. From local parish council level, change can be made initially locally and ultimately at Westminster. We saw the Greens and Caroline Lucas build to eventually having a candidate elected to Parliament, and we need to do the same. Anne Marie stated she will not rest until Hartlepool vote her in and collectively, we can make this happen. If we all get behind local candidates standing in May, it will send a clear message. But the first step is to become a member, and I am asking you to do that today. For Britain supports our veterans, who can join for free, for life (just an initial £5 setup fee). Det var da en frygtelig storternet skjorte, Tommy har fået på i dagens anledning. Det snit og den farve er bare ikke ham.
Men bortset fra det: Hvorfor slutter han sig ikke til “Britain First”? For mange kamphaner i kurven, måske?
Jeg er meget begejstret for AMW´s podcast. Hun er belæst, begavet og fuld af sunde holdninger til samfundet, og hvordan det bør indrettes. Men jeg tror næsten, hun er for ærlig til at være i politik, når det før eller siden for alvor bliver beskidt. Og det gør dét, hvor der er magt og indflydelse at komme efter. Når hendes modstandere for alvor begynder at finde knivene frem fra ærmet, er “For Britain” så parat til at slå igen på samme vis?
Svært at vide hvilke overvejelser Tommy har gjort sig angående For Britain, men jeg stoler på at han har tænkt det bedre igennem end sit skjortevalg.
Måske er det netop en anden vis end den sædvanlige, der tiltaler ham, og som er nødvendig fremover, også i England.
Jeg sporer en træthed i mange lande over etablerede partier, etablerede politikere, og deres etablerede skyttegravsstillinger.
