In the Democrat scheme of things, when one is losing an election, the thing to do is to keep on producing and counting ballots until one gets the result one wants.
We saw that in 2020, we saw that in the Los Angeles mayoral primary.
But now we see it in Brazil’s election, where a socialist judge who had served as President Luiz Inacio ‘Lula’ da Silva’s personal lawyer decided to increase voting by two hours — after all the conservative districts had shut down their operations and could not restart their voting machines.
🚨 COUP: In American terms, what Brazil’s Supreme Court just did in tonight’s election to Bolsonaro is let a place like deep-blue Broward County FL keep voting while red Lee County has to shut their polls down. Let Detroit vote while Macomb can’t. Let Dane and Madison WI vote while the red WOW counties can’t. Let Philly vote while Butler and Westmoreland can’t. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED?! If this happened in America, there would be thousands in the streets. WAKE UP, BRAZIL!!— Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) October 25, 2026
Net result? Lula defeated conservative presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro even after the latter had squarely won round one with margin to spare and smaller parties likely to consolidate to him.
Never happened like that before.
Bolsonaro put on a brave face and vowed to soldier on:
🇧🇷 Flávio Bolsonaro is understandably pissed at the way Lula manipulated yesterday’s elections in Brazil: “I will not accept that the rules of the game were changed at the last minute, once again, by Lula’s friends in the Federal Supreme Court. It is inexplicable that this happened. There is a lot to be clarified before Brazil simply recognizes this dirty trick that took place in these elections. I will not give up on my Brazil.” Writer: Mhedi https://t.co/eqbYDmZsQR— Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal) October 26, 2026

Left-wingers, who had been losing during the counting, suddenly came out ahead, through the miracle of extra counting time in their heavily weighted districts alone.
Even the New York Times could see the problem, and they interviewed legal experts who believed the election could be nullified just from this sleazy practice:
Even the NYT realizes how obvious this was… https://t.co/VQ5pv6BfSb— Geiger Capital (@Geiger_Capital) October 26, 2026
But I have my doubts. Already the conservative governments of Colombia and Chile have congratulated Lula on his ‘victory’ probably knowing how things work in Brazil and seeing the writing on the wall. They are likely calculating that it’s better to be friendly with the ‘winner’ than to have constant problems from him, and with President Trump still on record as supporting the communist running Venezuela over the wildly popular conservative who won the 2024 election and just rolled into Caracas on a sea of people, who can blame them for going along with this lesser-league communist? Plus, all the fraud seen in the U.S., which was not Trump’s fault — happened, and they know that leftists can get away with it.
The sorry result in Brazil parallels to California’s extended election month, where results are posted as ballots come in and ballots can just keep coming and coming, for up to seven days past election day until Democrats get the result they want, for a win that’s just over the ‘win’ line.
And now that happened in Brazil, too.
Lula ‘won’ just over the win line (the first tweet is from an admitted lefty gloating but has the total):
BREAKING: It appears that Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will defeat right-wing, Trump favorite Flavio Bolsonaro in the Brazilian presidential election. Once again MAGA and the right wing in Brazil will claim the election was rigged. What a win this would be for Brazil if things hold.— Brian Krassenstein (@krassenstein) October 25, 2026
Brazilian Senator Flávio Bolsonaro: “What happened today was not something normal. In fact, it was something unacceptable. At 5:01 pm, Justice Zanin makes a decision extending the election hours by 2 hours. This has never happened before in the history of Brazil.” https://t.co/EiVTPPYcSG— Open Source Intel (@Osint613) October 26, 2026
Because, as Bolsonaro’s brother points out, they ‘found’ the votes:
TRANSLATION: First Round Abstentions: 33.5 million (21%) Blank votes: 2.3 million (2%) Invalid votes: 3.7 million (3%) Voter turnout: 125.3 million (79%) Other candidates: 9.5 million (8%) Second Round Abstentions: 30.4 million (21%) Blank votes: 1.4 million (1%) Invalid votes: 2.7 million (2%) Voter turnout: 128.1 million (81%) Lula: 64.1 million (51.8%) Flávio: 59.7 million (48.2%) Between abstentions, blank votes, and invalid votes, they somehow found 5 million additional votes. Add that to the 9.5 million votes cast for other candidates in the first round, and you have a pool of approximately 14 million new votes. Flávio gained 4 million votes, going from 56 million to 60 million. Lula gained 10 million votes, going from 54 million to 64 million. All figures are rounded. Of this pool of 14 million votes, Flávio received 29%, while Lula received 71%. And this happened despite the fact that 10 million of those 14 million votes came from voters who had supported other candidates with more right-leaning political profiles. The whole thing is so extraordinary that it is extremely difficult to believe. It’s as if, in just three weeks, voters who had signaled a turn to the right suddenly made a sharp turn to the left. It’s hard not to think about those two extra hours.— Eduardo Bolsonaro🇧🇷 (@BolsonaroSP) October 26, 2026
Now Lula can begin the work of carrying out his threats to jail the opposition and coming after other conservatives. Believe him, he will. He’s Elissa Slotkin cubed.
And Brazil’s socialists have just figured out how to extend their stay in power forever, on the Castro model, which they openly admire, becoming similar to California’s blue-state ‘perfect dictatorship.’
Ideas travel.
The scary thing is that some see this as a test run for Democrats here in the states.
The Brazil election was a test. EVERY Single Election with mail in ballots will Result in leftist votes. This was a trial run for the mid terms.— Dave (@daveaurkov) October 26, 2026
But I suspect it was Brazil that copied the Democrats, who copied the Chavistas, who copied the Castro regime in Cuba. Every one of these fraudy elections involved similar types of rigging.
Soros couldn’t be happier:
Lula Lula Lula! Congrats to Brazil for standing up against authoritarianism once again! 🇧🇷 ⚖️✌️— Alex Soros (@AlexanderSoros) October 26, 2026

Socialist President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, 80, was elected president of Brazil for a fourth term in Sunday’s runoff election, narrowly defeating conservative Sen. Flávio Bolsonaro in a tightly contested race in which both sides alleged irregularities and the Supreme Court intervened to extend voting.
At press time, with 99.76 percent remaining, Lula is in the lead with 51.75 percent, or about 64.066 million, of the votes. Sen. Bolsonaro has accumulated 48.25 percent of the vote, or about 59.725 million votes, creating a gap that authorities have deemed too large to overcome with the remaining vote.
Lula’s return to power in Brazil in 2022 was historic, as the radical Marxist founder of the Workers’ Party (PT) is a convicted felon who was sentenced to upwards of 20 years in prison in 2019 on charges of misusing public funds during his first two terms as president. He was allowed to run for president once more through the grace of the nation’s top court, the Supreme Federal Tribunal (STF), which in 2021 overturned his conviction on a technicality, not revealing any new exonerating information regarding his case.
Lula’s opponent, Sen. Bolsonaro, is the son of Lula’s 2022 presidential rival, former President Jair Bolsonaro. He announced his intention to run for president in December after the same STF convicted the elder Bolsonaro of “crimes against democracy” for questioning the integrity of the 2022 election and allegedly attempting to poison Lula, allegations Bolsonaro has aggressively denied. The elder Bolsonaro is currently on house arrest, as a result of various health problems, and banned from running for any public office until he is 105 years old.
This time, Lula’s win is historic again as he defeated Sen. Bolsonaro after losing the first round of the election, the first time in decades a candidate has obtained the achievement. In Brazil, a first round of presidential voting includes all candidates and requires a candidate to receive 50 percent or more support to secure a presidential victory. If no candidate surpasses the 50-percent threshold, the top two candidates move on to a runoff election without the rest of the candidates in which the person with the largest absolute number of votes wins.
Sen. Bolsonaro won the first round of voting with 47.12 percent support — somewhat of a surprise as the total represented a larger amount of support than polling anticipated, but nonetheless insufficient to avoid a runoff election. Lula, vying for his fourth term in office, received about 45 percent of the vote in that race. Most major polls prior to Sunday’s vote also showed the senator with a slight lead, though many were within the margin of error.
The election on Sunday was affected — marred, critics alleged — by a decision by the country’s top court, the Supreme Federal Tribunal (STF), to allow for the extension of voting times after Lula’s campaign reportedly complained of a bus shortage for transport. The cities in which the Lula campaign reportedly complained that transport issues had prevented voters from reaching the polls — Salvador, Lauro de Freitas, and Feira de Santana — are all in Bahía, part of the northeast, which has long been a PT stronghold.
STF Justice Cristiano Zanin issued an unprecedented, single-justice ruling late in the voting time to extend voting by two hours, closing polls at 7 p.m. local time, rather than 5 p.m. as previously anticipated. The ruling was notably a success for Lula after he attempted a similar move in 2022, when he ran against Sen. Bolsonaro’s father, then-President Jair Bolsonaro, but another STF justice, Alexandre de Moraes, rejected the move.
Zanin’s decision was controversial not just because of its unprecedented nature and the fact that no other STF justice participated in the ruling, but because he ruled that only polling stations that had not closed at the previously agreed-upon time could remain open. Once polling stations are closed, to preserve integrity, poll workers cannot easily reopen that process, so those that refused to close at the appropriate time — presumably, those advocated for by the Lula campaign — obtained an extra two hours to collect votes.
In addition to the STF decision, local authorities reportedly ordered the arrest of Pablo Souza, the Secretary of Transport of Salvador, over the alleged bus incident.

BREAKING: Flavio Bolsonaro Calls for Election to be “Annulled” – Extending Voting Hours Has NEVER Happened Before in Brazil’s History!
Taget herfra

Conservative Flavio Bolsonaro called for Sunday’s presidential results to be annulled in Brazil.
This comes after socialist tyrant Lula da Silva callled his personal attorney and Brazilian Justice Christiano Zanin to hold the polls open for two extra hours. Lula arrested the former pro-American leader Jair Bolsonaro following the previous election and is still persecuting the man – like a typical communist.
Flavio Bolsonaro was predicted to win on EVERY single polling aggregator in the country.
Flavio Bolsonaro spoke out after the results were called. He called the results INVALID and stated Lula stole the election from him.
Flavio Bolsonaro: “What happened today was not something normal. In fact, it was something unacceptable. At 5:01 pm, Justice Zanin makes a decision extending the election hours by 2 hours. This has never happened before in the history of Brazil… A Supreme Court justice, for the first time in history—Lula’s former lawyer—issued a unilateral decree at the request of a former law partner of his, and changed the rules of the game in the middle of the game!… At 5:01 PM, Justice Zanin—who is not part of the Superior Electoral Court—trampling over the specialized electoral court, made a decision extending voting by two hours. This had never happened in the history of Brazil!”
The The president of Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court, Judge Kassio Nunes Marques, has just issued a devastating warning:
There was absolutely no rule that allowed extending the voting by two hours.
It was an unprecedented order from a Supreme Court magistrate allied with Lula, which ended up benefiting his regions.
He also warned that it was materially impossible, in just a few hours, to guarantee that a judicial decision of that magnitude would not cause side effects—especially technological ones—capable of significantly altering the vote count.
VISIONS OF 2020–
Here’s the back story…

The Brazilian Presidential Election is being held today in one of Latin America’s few remaining leftist controlled countries.
Socialist Lula da Silva is locked in a tight race with Flavio Bolsonaro, the son of former persecuted president Jair Bolsonaro.

Earlier today, President Lula da Silva’s “personal attorney” and Supreme Court Justice Christiano Justin extended election hours after complaints by Lula!
They call Justice Cristiano Zanin “Lula’s justice” (or “ministro do Lula”) because he was Lula’s personal lawyer who successfully defended him in the Lava Jato cases, and Lula later appointed him to Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court (STF).
Unbelievable!
Ballot counting in Brazil’s 2026 presidential runoff (Lula vs. Flávio Bolsonaro) was set to begin at 17:00 Brasília time (5 p.m. local) on October 25, when polls were originally scheduled to close.Oglobo.globo
Brazil uses a unified Brasília schedule for elections, electronic voting machines transmit results quickly, and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) typically starts publishing partial totals right after closing.
A last-minute Supreme Court decision by Justice Cristiano Zanin extended voting by two hours (until 19:00 Brasília) over transport and weather issues.
