DNI Tulsi Gabbard just declassified documents that prove what we knew all along — the Obama administration manufactured intel to create the fake narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.
One of the biggest discoveries in those docs is that Obama’s intelligence agencies concluded in December 2016 that Russia had zero influence on the election.
Yet, despite this, they went on to push the lie that President Trump colluded with Russia to get elected in his first term.

The documents go on to reveal how the Obama administration cooked up the Russia collusion hoax, knowingly and intentionally.
Here’s a breakdown of all the key findings:
- Newly declassified documents released July 18, 2025, reveal that U.S. intelligence agencies under the Obama administration privately assessed in 2016 that Russia did not interfere in or alter the outcome of the presidential election.
- A Sept. 12, 2016 intelligence memo concluded there was no credible evidence that foreign actors could conduct widespread, undetected cyberattacks on U.S. election systems.
- A follow-up memo from DNI James Clapper on Dec. 7, 2016, reaffirmed that no cyber-based disruptions or manipulations of the vote had taken place.
- Despite these internal assessments, senior Obama officials — including CIA Director John Brennan and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe — pushed forward a narrative of Russian election interference.
- President Obama directed agencies to compile a new intelligence report, completed in January 2017, which incorporated unverified claims from the Steele dossier.
- Critics now allege this effort was politically motivated and intended to undermine the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s 2016 victory.
- Tulsi Gabbard, now Director of National Intelligence, declassified over 100 pages of related documents, claiming they show a deliberate effort to manufacture intelligence and fuel the Trump–Russia collusion narrative.
- The documents suggest a disconnect between private intelligence findings and public statements made by Obama-era officials after the election.
