Knifeman is on the loose after stabbing four random victims during rampage at Paris Metro stations

Police are hunting a knifeman who stabbed several passengers on the Paris Metro last night.

The attacks ranged over nearly four hours in the 10th and 19th arrondissements, just north-east of the city centre.

• A man was stabbed in Riquet station in north-east Paris at 9.15pm last night
•  Another passenger was attacked at Jacques Bonsergent station at 10.45pm
•  The attacker, who stabbed another man just before 1am, remains on the run
