Six convictions in the past two years – yet the Iraqi refugee Yousif A. (Photo above) was on the loose. This was the only reason why he and his accomplice were able to stab 35-year-old Daniel H. at the city festival in Chemnitz and seriously injure two other Germans.
His application for asylum was also rejected, but was nevertheless tolerated.
The Chemnitz massacre was yet another first-class failure of the state.The criminal record of the Iraqi reads as diverse as it should be for a diverse republic.
Almost everything is included: from dangerous bodily injury to fraud, damage to property, dangerous interference in road traffic and two times drug possession. Now there’s manslaughter. At least that’s why he’s in custody.
Meanwhile, citizens of Chemnitz have reported the Chief Public Prosecutor for obstruction of justice. They are of the opinion that the accusation should be “murder” and not only “manslaughter” due to the many knife wounds.
The 22-year-old was apparently a ticking time bomb known to the police and judiciary as violent. Nevertheless, he remained at large.
A year ago, he was convicted of dangerous assault. The sentence was eight months – on probation, the tabloid Bild reports. Yousif A. left the court as a free man and must have had the impression: In this Germany you can do everything.13 months later he went one step further and stabbed Daniel H. with his knife together with his Syrian buddy, 23-year-old Alaa S., until he was dead. Two other victims barely escaped with their lives.
The questions the media should be asking now are: How can a man like that not go to prison? Why is a serious criminal not deported despite a rejected application for asylum? Why was he even allowed to enter the country? Did he have a passport? What responsibility does the Chancellor bear with her refugee policy?
But instead, journalists and the government verbally beat up those people who ask this question.
