Rayshard Brooks was driving under the influence, resisted arrest, took an officer’s weapon, ran with the officer’s weapon. Yet people are upset because he was shot. Of course the officers are facing backlash for literally doing their jobs. Brooks became a threat to the people around him when he forcibly removed the officers taser. Lethal force is justified when the lives of innocent bystanders are at risk.
