Research, funded by the British Heart Foundation, and published today in the British Journal of Health Psychology(1), reveals that South Asian men living in London reported greater stress than their white counterparts.

Qaim Zaidi, Ethnic Strategy Coordinator at the BHF, said:

“South Asians living in the UK have a 50% higher death rate from heart disease than the general population. The reason for the difference is unclear, but high incidence of diabetes, and fat around the waistline are thought to contribute to these concerning rates.

“In the workplace, we encourage bosses to ensure that employees are not put under excessive mental stress, which could include racial discrimination or harassment.”

  1. Typical crap. They can’t blame themselves or there diet. It is always someone else’s fault not theres. Who better to blame than the infidel. It is all down to Islamophobia, your irrational hate for us is causing us stress, which is causing this heart disease. What is next on the agenda for these loons. I can just imagine the Headlines in the papers in a few years time if this is not nipped in the bud.

    then inside read that the Pakistani had been driven by the rampant islamophobic attitude inside the firm, for him to start smoking, because of this he had developed cancer of the lungs. The judge refused however to allow his claim, that his 200,000 relatives in Pakistan should also be paid compensation for the mental anguish his condition had caused them.
