UK: Muslimsk medarbejder på atomkraftværk efterforskes for mulig terrorisme

POLICE are investigating claims that Waqqar Ahmed, 22, looked at a bomb-making website on a laptop whilst working at Hunterston B nuclear power station.

Waqqar Ahmed, 22, was removed from North Ayrshire’s Hunterston B site on Tuesday after a colleague claimed he had seen him looking at a bomb-making website on a laptop.

Police are investigating and power plant owners EDF have confirmed a worker was removed over claims he was looking at “inappropriate material”.

Despite links on his Facebook page to the Charlie Hebdo massacre and the Kosher supermarket attack, which saw Muslim terrorists shoot dead several French citizens earlier this year, friends claim Waqqar is “completely against” terrorism.
