And it has emerged that Mr Farage is said to have been left disturbed and worried after a surge in death threats, forcing him to go to the police.
One source told the Daily Express: ‘He has been very concerned about the death threats. They have really got to him’.
Recent threats online said: ‘Someone needs to assassinate Nigel Farage with immediate effect’ and ‘I will pay for someone to shoot Nigel Farage.’ Although there is likely to have been more concrete threats that sent him to the police.
