Hatred of gays in Africa may have just hit a new low: Sheikh Ramathan Shaban Mubajje, reportedly the leading Muslim cleric in Uganda, has proposed to “solve” Uganda’s gay “problem” by simply expelling all gays and lesbians.
He suggests shipping them all off to an island in Lake Victoria — and “if they die there then we shall have no more homosexuals in the country.”
