I am travelling in the Middle East in my job. Just not right now though 
. I beleive the issue about picturing Muhammed is somewhat misconceived. Visiting the basar eg. in Tehran you find lots of pictures and amulets showing the face of Muhammed. So apparently it is OK to make pictures and drawings of Muhammed if you are a muslim. Of course they are not caricatures, but still it is possible to picture Muhammed.
I suspect another Agenda behind all this screaming and burning textiles and behaving like primates. It is the Islam radicals in Europe who using this as a possibility to call all european muslims into their ranks. They need this anarchy and scary behaviour to create a distance between christians and muslims in Europe. So take care not to fall into their trap all Europeans both muslims and christians!
