Fængselsbetjente stævnes i massevis i Jeffrey Epsteinsagen

Nearly two dozen corrections officers are hit with subpoenas in Jeffrey Epstein suicide probe as investigators search for why the pedophile was left unattended for hours

  • A source said as many as 20 officers received the subpoenas last week
  • Investigators are trying to unravel what went on at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in the hours before Epstein was found dead in his cell
  • More subpoenas could be on the way as the probe expands, the source said
  • On Wednesday General William Barr said the probe is ‘well along’ despite ‘a number of witnesses’ refusing to cooperate with FBI and DoJ investigators
  • At least eight prison officials were reportedly given specific orders that Epstein wasn’t allowed to be left unattended in his jail cell, insiders claim
  • Yet those rules were ignored, and the pedophile killed himself on August 10
